Jeff Welskopf is passionate about getting to the heart of the matter.  People spend most of their lives exchanging one mask for another and in the end they are only fooling themselves.  Jeff understands this and knows firsthand how difficult life’s challenges can be.  It is not merely about existing in this life but  rather to learn to live life abundantly.  Following the late missionary William Carey, Jeff strives to live his life by these words: “Attempt Great Things For God. Expect Great Things From God.”

After serving with the United States Navy aboard the USS Independence CV-62, Jeff followed the call to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Il.  There he received a double degree in Evangelism-Discipleship and Bible Theology (2003).

After a traumatic event in 2001, Jeff decided to get some training in the counseling arts so that he would have a more well-rounded look at working in ministry.  He then continued his education at Dallas Theological Seminary and received a Masters of Arts Degree in Biblical Counseling (2008).  Jeff completed his counseling practicum at Life Force Counseling working in a 12 Step environment.  He counseled young men who struggled with chemical dependency.  In 2009, Jeff received his LPC-Intern License from the state of Texas and worked at Stonebriar Counseling Associates working with sexual addictions, trauma and anxiety disorders for nearly a year.

Jeff offers counseling for the following areas but not limited to: depression, anxiety (including phobias, compulsive disorders and hoarding), men’s sexual issues (including pornography addiction, same sex attraction), anger, self-worth issues, pastoral and missionary care, Christian counseling and post-military issues.

Jeff is currently living in Dallas and enjoys activities at his local church and is involved in Celebrate Recovery.
